3. 3. Extracting Epson Scanner Software

   Extract the Image Scan Bundle.

   You can either double-click the archive in the File Manager and extract it into /tmp, or use the terminal command:

   tar xvzf ./*scan*.deb.tar.gz -C /tmp/

   

4. 4. Installing Epson Scanner Software

   To install iScan/ImageScan software for Linux, navigate to the software location:

   cd /tmp/*scan*

   Then, run the installer with:

   sudo ./install.sh

   Authenticate with your user admin password. If you encounter a “User is not in sudoers file” error, refer to our guide on enabling sudo.
