   Get Realtek rtl8912AU Driver on Ubuntu

   Realtek Driver Source Realtek for Ubuntu

   Best to Clone it with Git!

4. 4. Installing Realtek rtl8912AU Driver

   Then to Install rtl8912AU Wi-fi Driver for Ubuntu
   Access the Target folder:

   cd  ~/Downloads/rtw89

   To Install it with DKMS (Recommended especially if Secure Boot is enabled in your system):

   sudo dkms install $PWD

   Alternative using make:

   make clean modules && sudo make install

   Next install the needed Firmware:

   sudo make install_fw

   Again copy the Configuration File with:

   sudo cp -v rtw89.conf /etc/modprobe.d/

   Next to load it reboot the System with:

   sudo reboot

   Finally, to list the available Wifi Interfaces run:

   iw dev

   

   Or else:

   ifconfig | grep wl

   The grep Command refine the output List showing only the Entries matching the Keyword.
