  2. Extract JDK 8 tar.gz Archive

    mv /jdk*tar.gz /tmp
    tar xvzf /jdk*tar.gz
  3. Open a Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

  4. Relocate Java JDK8

    sudo su

    If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution

    chown -R root:root /tmp/jdk1.8*
    mv /tmp/jdk1.8* /opt

    nano /usr/share/java-config-2/vm/oracle-sun-jdk8u[X]
    Just Substitute to the [X] the Correspondent Java Update Version.

    Make a Symlink

    ln -s /opt/jdk1.8.0_0X/ /usr/lib/jvm/oracle-sun-jdk8uX

    Find the New Oracle Java SE JDK 8 Installation

    java-config -L

    Switch System Java to the New Manually Installed Oracle JDK 8

    java-config --set-system-vm oracle-sun-jdk8uX

    Test New Oracle JDK 8 Installation

    java -version
