Download Apache Tomcat 7 Server.

Double-Click on Archive and Extract Into /tmp

Open Terminal Window
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands) -
Relocate Apache Tomcat 7
Login as SuperUser.
su
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then see: How to Enable sudo
Move.
mv /path/To/apache-tomcat-7 /usr/share
- Check if Java is Installed on your Platform
java -version
The Output Need to Show a Version >= 1.6.
If Java is Not Installed then:
Install the Latest Java JDK 7 on RHEL 6 -
Command to Start and Stop the Tomcat Server

Start
/usr/share/apache-tomcat-7/bin/startup.sh

Stop
/usr/share/apache-tomcat-7/bin/shutdown.sh

Then to Access Tomcat Admin on Browser Go.
