  1. Download Apache Tomcat 7 Server.

    Apache Tomcat 7 tar.gz
  • Find the Downloaded Package and Double-Click to Extract it

  • Open Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

  • Relocate Apache Tomcat 7

    Login as SuperUser.

    su

    Move.

    mv /path/To/apache-tomcat-7 /usr/lib

    java -version

  • Command to Start and Stop the Tomcat Server
