  1. Download ActivePerl Linux Release:

    ActivePerl Linux x86 5.X
  2. Double-Click on Archive and Extract into /tmp Kubuntu ActivePerl Extraction

  3. Open Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

    1. Login as SuperUSer
      sudo su

    2. Change to ActivePerl Directory
      cd /tmp/ActivePerl*
    3. Run Installation Script
      ./install.sh

      If Needed Set Install Directory Location.

      Example: /opt/ActivePerl-5-X.

    4. PATH SetUp
      exit
      nano ~/.bashrc

      Append:

      export PATH=/opt/ActivePerl-5.*/bin:$PATH

      Ctrl+x to Save & Exit.
