  2. Download Manually VMware-Tools for Workstation, Player or Fusion:
    VMWare-Tools com.zip.tar Solaris
  3. Double-Click on Com.zip Archive and Extract into /tmp
    Extract com.VMware-Tools com.zip
  4. Into the payload Double-Click on Solaris.Iso and Extract Into /tmp
    Extract VMware-Tools CD ISO
  5. Double-Click tar.gz Archive and Extract VMware-Tools into /tmp
    Extract VMware-Tools tar.gz Archive
  6. Open Package-Manager

    System > Administration > Package Manager

  7. Install Gcc Package
    Solaris 11 Install Gcc

  9. Open a Terminal Window
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)
  10. VMWare Tools Installation:
    • Access the Target Directory
      cd /tmp/vmware*

      su
