1. Download Image Scan! Software on Epson Download Center

   Here Search “MY-MODEL” (Eg.:WF-3640) and Linux

   Link to Download Image Scan! V2/V3 Driver and Software for GNU/Linux.

   Epson Image Scan! Bundle.
   Then Get Both ‘iscan2+… ltdl7‘ and ‘iscan-data’ .deb 32/64-bit Packages!

2. Open Terminal Window
   (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

   

   In case first see: Terminal QuickStart Guide.

3. Install Image Scan! for Mint Linux.

   Change to the Epson scanner driver download Location

   Copy

   cd $HOME/Downloads

   Decompress the driver package

   Copy

   tar xvzf ./*scan*.deb.tar.gz -C /tmp/

   Install drivers Dependencie

   Copy

   sudo apt-get install xsltproc

   Then Install the drivers one-by-one with

   Copy

   sudo dpkg -i ./iscan-bundle*/data/iscan*.deb

   Copy

   sudo dpkg -i ./iscan-bundle*/core/iscan*.deb

   Copy

   sudo dpkg -i ./iscan-bundle*/plugins/iscan*.deb

4. Launch imageScan and Start Scanning :).

   From Terminal simply with:

   Copy

   imagescan
