Hi! The Tutorial shows you Step-by-Step How to Install Unrar and Enable it on Archive Manager for Elementary OS GNU/Linux.

RAR is a win.rar proprietary archive file format that supports data compression, error recovery and file spanning.

1. Open a Command Line Terminal Window
   Ctrl+Alt+t
   (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

2. Installing UnRar for Elementary OS.

   sudo apt-get install unrar

   Then you’ll be able on Desktop to Extract the RAR & Jar Files with a simple Double-Click :)
