You are Welcome! This Tip Shows You How to Enable the Apt PPA for Ansible Installation on Ubuntu/Mint GNU/Linux Systems.

Ansible is a radically simple IT Automation Engine that Automates Cloud provisioning, Configuration management, Application deployment, Intra-service orchestration, and many other IT needs.

Enabling Ansible Apt PPA for Mint/Ubuntu - Featured
  1. Open a Shell session
    Ctrl+Alt+t to open a Terminal emulator on Desktop
    (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

  2. Enabling Ansible PPA

    sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ansible/ansible

    Refresh Repos with:

    sudo apt update
  3. Only in Case of Repo Not Existing for the Latest Ubuntu
    Amend it Manually, for Example on Zesty:

    sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ansible-ansible-*.list

    Change the Definition to the Previous Ubuntu version like:

    deb yakkety main
    deb-src yakkety main

    Ctrl+x to Save & Exit from nano editor :)
    Then Refresh again the Repos:

    sudo apt update
