Install Zookeeper Fedora 26
Welcome Fedora User! This Tutorial Shows You Step-by-step How-to Install Apache Zookeeper in Fedora 26 32/64-bit GNU/Linux.
The Apache Zookeeper Setup for Fedora 26 Require the Oracle Java JDK 8+ Installation Fedora.
Furthermore Apache ZooKeeper allows distributed processes to coordinate with each other through a shared hierarchical name space of data registers (we call these registers znodes), much like a file system.
But Unlike normal file systems ZooKeeper provides its Clients with High Throughput, Low Latency, Highly Available, Strictly Ordered Access to the znodes.
Open a Shell Terminal emulator window
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)
Download Apache Zookeeper for Linux:
Apache Zookeeper tar.gz
Double-Click on Archive Extract into /tmp
Or from Command Line:
tar xvzf zookeeper*.tar.gz -C /tmp/
Relocating the Zookeeper Folder
sudo chown -R root:root /tmp/zookeeper*
sudo mv /tmp/zookeeper* /opt/zookeeper

Setting Up the Java Heap Memory Size
A Good Value is about 75% of RAM.
